Biography

Hi, I'm Angie Jenkins. I have lived with my husband and four children in Tooele for 18 years. We love this small community! I graduated from the University of Utah in Accounting, and I have enjoyed working in the field of Accounting for over twenty years. I am currently the controller for Faktory, an advertising agency in Davis County. Like any typical accounting nerd, I love numbers and organizing money and ensuring that life fits nicely in a spreadsheet. We heard about Excelsior Academy the year it opened and knew it was the answer we were looking for in our children's education. The emphasis on rigorous academics and excellence is something we value in our lives. We didn't make it in the original enrollment but were lucky enough to be selected that November and immediately made the switch. Our four children have attended (and loved it) ever since! Two of our children have graduated from Excelsior and are always looking for an excuse to come back! I enjoy volunteering in the classroom and helping with special activities. We have had a wonderful experience with Excelsior.

I enjoy camping and hiking with my family and exploring nearby National Parks. Our family loves to travel and try new things, we're always up for an adventure. I love a new challenge and look forward to contributing and serving with the amazing people on the Excelsior Board.
