Mr. Nicholas Abarca

Fourth Grade

Hello! My name is Nick Abarca and I am excited for another year at Excelsior Academy. While in college I was in the process of changing my major for the third time when I received a job offer to work in a school. After discovering how much I loved working with kids in their education I changed my major for the last time and never looked back. Having worked with children in a variety of settings I can say that Excelsior is a truly special school. I believe that any child can be successful if provided the right skills, environment and support. I am thrilled to be part of a school that does amazing at doing just that!

I grew up here in Tooele County and after moving away for school returned in 2018 with my wife and newborn daughter. My hobbies include cooking new foods, woodworking and spending time with family
