Mrs. Christy Johnson

First Grade

Hello! My name is Christy Johnson and I am thrilled to be teaching first grade. I have been at Excelsior Academy since 2015 and I love everything about it. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember, and that desire was enhanced by a very special teacher who taught me to believe in myself and work for my dreams. I feel so blessed to be able to live my dream everyday.

I grew up in southern California and have also lived in Colorado and Ohio.  I love to travel and explore new places, but am happy to call Utah home. I have four amazing children: three boys and one girl. I love camping, reading, trying out new recipes, and being with my family. I also love teaching and I love my students. I look forward  to another great year at Excelsior Academy!
