Mrs. Jacquelyn Tripp

Second Grade

My name is Jacquelyn Tripp, and I'm starting my tenth year here at Excelsior Academy. I taught second grade for two years and then moved into administration for seven years. I'm excited to be following my passion and going back into the classroom this year and teaching fourth-grade. I have a B.A. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Psychology from California State University of San Bernardino. I also have a master's degree in Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction from Capella University. 

I'm from Southern California and moved to Utah almost seventeen years ago. Utah has grown on me through the years. I like the outdoors, and this a beautiful state to live in to explore them. I do enjoy going back to California to visit my family and the beach. I have a terrific husband and three teenage boys at home, and we enjoy anything sports-related. We are huge Utes fans, GO UTES!
