Mrs. Phyllisa Conlin

Middle School Librarian

I began my journey with Excelsior Academy by volunteering in my oldest son's English and science classes in 2012. In 2014, I acted on the need I saw for an instructor in the Jr. High, and applied for the non-existent position. With some advocating from the teachers I worked with, I received a job offer in October of that year. The ensuing years have been a rewarding experience, stretching me in ways I never thought possible. I have enjoyed many opportunities to grow through various responsibilities throughout the years. In April 2022, I decided to stretch myself once more, becoming the middle school librarian. 

I have been married to my sweetheart since 1998 and have four children, all of whom have graduated from Excelsior Academy. I enjoy reading, playing strategy games, and spending time with my family.
