Mrs. Megan Simper

CTE

I teach 3 Career and Technical Education subjects: Digital Literacy, Foods & Nutrition, and Fashion Design. My bachelor's degree is in Family Life Education from Utah State University. Teaching these particular subjects is my dream job, and I absolutely LOVE it! I started at Excelsior Academy in 2017 as a substitute teacher, then became a special education instructor, then a 1st grade instructor, and finally a teacher in the middle school. Part of our school mission is to help students gain a life-long love of learning, which describes me perfectly, since I love learning new things! Some of my other favorites are: chocolate, reading, digital creating, cake decorating, sewing, and flower arranging. 

My husband, John, and I have been happily married for over 20 years. Our family has lived in Tooele since 2009 with our 5 children. Together, we enjoy going on outdoor adventures, playing games, and watching movies. Someday we hope to have a cabin in the mountains.
