Mrs. Michelle Larson

Third Grade SpEd

Hello! I'm Mrs. Larson and I am excited to teach 2nd grade again this year! I have worked at Excelsior Academy since 2010. I began my education career as a substitute teacher working for Tooele County School District. It wasn't long before I accepted a full-time position first as a reading tutor ,and then as a Special Education para-educator. I loved working with students so much that I decided to return to college to earn my teaching degree from Utah State University.

I am married with two sons, two grandsons, and a large, ever-expanding extended family. I love spending time with my family, planning and throwing parties, honing my photography skills, and traveling. I also love to work on family history. Next to my family, teaching is what I love the most. I am looking forward to getting to know my students and their families this year.
