Biography

Hello! I'm Mrs. Chris, and I've been part of the Excelsior family for nine wonderful years. My journey here began as a support instructor when my oldest son started Kindergarten — and I never left! I've had the joy of being part of the Kindergarten and 1st grade teams, serving as our elementary computer teacher, and I'm thrilled to be starting my fifth year in 4th grade as a homeroom teacher. Every role has shown me something special about our school community, but there's nothing quite like the energy and curiosity of fourth graders. I love seeing their eyes light up when they share something they're passionate about — those moments are why I teach.

Outside the classroom, my husband and I celebrated our 14th anniversary this summer with one of our favorite family traditions: camping, fishing, and paddle boarding at Strawberry Bay. We have two sons who've grown up at Excelsior, and I'm grateful every day that this school has been such a meaningful part of their lives — and mine.
