Biography

Hi, I'm Rosalyn Wynn. I was born and raised in Utah and I love it here. I currently reside in Stansbury Park with my husband and two kids. Before I had my children, I worked in various Information Technology positions, from Call Center to HelpDesk Technician for about 7 years. I wanted a change in careers and find something that I could stay at home and start a family and also work, so I obtained my Real Estate License and have been selling homes part-time.

When I first learned about a charter school coming to Erda, I knew immediately this was something Tooele County needed and I wanted to step-in and help. I loved their vision and curriculum, and knew this school was going to be a great fit for my children. I volunteered and became a founding member, [because I knew my luck with lotteries were slim] and I wanted to ensure my kids were able to attend this school.

In 2011-2012 I was asked to serve as the Elementary FSO Leader for Excelsior. It was a big, new challenge for me, but the work was rewarding. Working alongside parents and staff was such a great experience and my love for Excelsior doubled that year.

I've loved being a part of Excelsior Academy from day one and I am excited to continue my journey while serving on the board.

In my spare time I love being with my family and travelling with them. I also love to cook, craft, go to paint classes, and sing karaoke.
