Hello, I'm Trisha Richards. I grew up here in Utah, but have had the opportunity to live in Illinois, Georgia, Texas, and Arizona over the past 11 years, and have loved each and every place. Currently, I live in Grantsville with my husband and two boys, and we love it out here.
My oldest will be starting kindergarten at Excelsior this year, and we couldn't be more excited. We look forward to being part of the Excelsior family.
Before becoming a mom, I attended Utah State University, earning a Masters Degree in Deaf Education/Elementary Education. I taught for two years in Arizona at a school for the deaf and one year in Salt Lake at the Jean Massieu School for the Deaf. I absolutely loved my career, but was anxious to stay at home with my little ones. Fortunately, I still have the opportunity to substitute at the school for the deaf every once-in-a-while, allowing me to stay connected to the Deaf community and keeping up on my ASL skills.
I enjoy long talks with my husband, adventures with my boys, reading a good book, triathlons, and cooking.
