Biography

Hi there! My name is Mr. Evans. Armed with a degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University and a knack for student leadership, I'm here to make learning as fun as it is educational! My grand educational adventure kicked off at Settlement Canyon Elementary, where I worked as a math interventionist, turning numbers into something kids love.

In 2023, I brought my bag of tricks to Excelsior Academy, starting as an instructor and then becoming a classroom teacher. My secret weapon? The golden nugget of wisdom from my mentors: teaching is relationship-driven. So, I make it my mission to connect with every student, helping them grow into the most unique, tiny humans they can be. I love being with students and observing their growth during this critical point of their educational journey. 

When I'm not wrangling young minds, you can find me traveling to new places, conquering hiking trails, rocking out at concerts, or enjoying a night out with friends. These adventures excite my teaching style, ensuring our classroom is always buzzing with energy and curiosity. Let's learn, laugh, and grow together!
