Biography

Welcome to 2nd grade!

I can’t wait to get to know your children and support them as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I’m looking forward to a year filled with learning, curiosity, and memorable experiences!

I grew up in Texas and moved to Utah in 2016. That same year, I began teaching at Excelsior Academy. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach students at different grade levels, and I truly enjoy helping children grow in confidence, develop a love of learning, and discover their unique strengths.

I earned my degree in 4–8 Education with a specialization in mathematics, and I’ve also completed the coursework required for an Elementary Science Endorsement. I’m passionate about creating a classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn each day.

Outside of school, I enjoy curling up with a good book and spending time with my family. My family and I are proud to be part of the Excelsior community, and I feel incredibly grateful to teach at a school that means so much to us.
