Mrs. Amanda Borden

Fifth Grade

Welcome to 5th grade Excelsior students!

My name is Amanda Borden. I began teaching at Excelsior in 2016. I grew up near Dallas, Texas and am the oldest of three girls. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas in Interdisciplinary Studies, grades 4-8, with a Math specialization.  I enjoy puzzles, reading, board games, and spending time with my family.  I have two beautiful little girls who keep me busy and I would not have it any other way.

I love working at Excelsior and am eager for the school year to begin. I look forward to working with all of my new students, seeing them succeed in the classroom, and having an incredible 5th grade year.
