Mrs. Amelia Coombs

Elementary Librarian

Hi there, I’m Amelia! I began my career at Excelsior Academy in 2015 as a classroom instructor, and soon found myself working in the library. I have a deep love of reading that began well before kindergarten. I vividly remember reading “There’s a Nightmare in My Closet” by Mercer Mayer over and over again. I was fortunate to have the love of reading instilled in me at such a young age, and I am an avid advocate of instilling that same desire in those around me. My advice to current or aspiring readers is to read the books that you enjoy and that make you happy!
