Mrs. Jayelle Hegewald

Science 8

I’m so excited to be teaching 8th grade science at Excelsior. EA is truly one of my favorite places to be! I love creating meaningful learning experiences that encourage enthusiasm in the classroom. 

Outside of school, I enjoy listening to all types of music, spending time with my family, and spoiling my two cats, Coconut and Zuri. 

I believe that learning lasts a lifetime, and I am always challenging myself to try new things! I hope to inspire that same motivation in each of my students.
