Mrs. Katie May

Hello! My name is Katie May. I’m fairly new to Tooele County and adjusting to small-town life after growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication and Psychology from Southern Utah University in 2012. My career began in mental health, where I spent several years working with teenagers in various treatment facilities. Eventually, I transitioned into Special Education and discovered a deep passion for the field. Working at Excelsior has been an incredible opportunity to continue learning and growing through the amazing individuals I meet every day.

When I have free time, you’ll often find me paddle boarding on a lake, enjoying the outdoors with my husband and children, or curled up with a good book.
