Biography

Excelsior Academy has been my home since 2013. My experience began as a 3rd grade teacher for five years, then 4th grade for almost three. I have been in administration since 2020. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Dixie State College in 2011, then served an 18-month mission in Oregon and Spain. I graduated from The University of Utah with my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy and my Administrator's License in May 2021. I am a proud multi-generation Grantsville girl and am married to my high school sweetheart, a long-time Grantsville boy and teacher at EA Middle School. We are a classic small-town love story: We live next to my parents. We have a puppy named Marnie, who is our best friend and a little boy, who is the apple of our eye. Some of my hobbies include running, music, education, and keeping busy with all the other ventures we are involved in.
