Mrs. Shannon Burnham
Kinder/First SpEd
I received my Bachelors in Elementary Ed with emphasis in teaching reading and special education from William Penn University. I began my career at Excelsior in 2021. I began as an instructor at the middle school working in the math and foods departments. I have since had the pleasure of working with a variety of grades in the Elementary in the Special Ed dept. These kids remind me all of the time of why I went into teaching and they bring joy into my life. I love seeing them learn and grow and work hard to be successful in school and life. I have 2 children of my own. My oldest is currently attending Utah State in Logan for a Business Management degree and my youngest just graduated from Tooele High and is finding his way into a career working in woodworking or automotive. I love reading, hiking, being outdoors, all things soccer and spending time with the people who are important to me.
