Mrs. Shannon Burnham

Third Grade SpEd

Hello! My name is Shannon Burnham, I began my career at Excelsior in 2021. I began as an instructor at the middle school working in the math and foods departments. I loved working with our middle schoolers and I am so excited to now get to work with our up and coming middle school kids to help make their transition as smooth as possible! I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education in 2001 with endorsements in teaching reading and special education. I have always enjoyed working with kids and look forward to working with these amazing kids and helping them become successful in their education and life goals! I have 2 boys of my own (who are basically adults now!) they are my entire world. I love reading, hiking, being outdoors and spending time with the people who are important to me.
