Mrs. Kailey Clausing

Second Grade

Hello! My name is Kailey Clausing. I started working at Excelsior Academy in 2018 as an instructor. I fell in love with teaching and helping students grow academically. I decided to further my education and now have my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. 

I have been a 2nd grade teacher since 2022. I strive to make my classroom welcoming for all students. I believe students learn best when they feel loved, safe, and are able to express their creativity. 

I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two children. I spend the majority of my free time with family, reading, vacationing, and camping. 

I am excited to start the new school year and help my students grow as leaders and learners for life.
