Hi! I’m Mrs. Ladle and I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade again this year! This will be my third year teaching fourth grade. I absolutely love teaching and there is no other place I’d rather be than here at Excelsior! I love the curriculum, the amazing staff, and of course, our students.
I am married to my sweetheart, Trent. We have 3 children. Our oldest daughter is getting ready to start her junior year at Weber State. Our son is 18 and will be a senior at Stansbury High School, and our youngest daughter is 10. She has been a student at Excelsior since Kindergarten. Some of my hobbies include running, gardening, and going on Disney vacations.
I have wanted to teach since I was a little girl. I started college after high school and completed my Associates Degree. My husband and I then began our journey to start our family. Five years later we adopted our daughter, then 2 years later, our son. 8 years later, I gave birth to our youngest. Once our little "caboose" started Kindergarten, I enrolled at Utah State University to finally fulfill my dream to teach. This summer, I decided to jump into a masters program. I am working towards a masters degree in curriculum and instruction. My son has a disability, and seeing him struggle through school, as well as helping him find success, has further cemented my desire to make a difference in the lives of my students. My mantra is that EVERY CHILD can be successful! I can’t wait to meet and get to know all my students and help them to grow as learners.
