Hi! I’m Mrs. Ladle, and I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade again this year at Excelsior Academy! Since joining the Excelsior team in 2017, I’ve had the joy of teaching exclusively in fourth grade, and there’s truly no place I’d rather be. I love the curriculum, the dedicated staff, and most of all, our amazing students.
Teaching has been my dream since childhood. I earned my Associate’s Degree after high school, then took time to focus on starting our family. My husband, Trent, and I have three wonderful children—two adopted and one biological. Once our youngest started kindergarten, I returned to school and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University. In 2021, I completed a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.
My passion for education deepened as I supported my son, who has a disability, through school. That experience strengthened my belief that every child can be successful. I strive to create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom where all students can thrive.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, gardening, and taking vacations (including Disney and Mexico) with my family.
